Project Overview & Contribution

This final year project was a complete game prototype demonstrating mastery across the development lifecycle, from initial Game Design Document (GDD) creation to final deployment. The core challenge was integrating a complex mechanical system (the alchemy/puzzle component) with a cohesive artistic vision within a set deadline.

Design & Implementation Focus

My role focused heavily on core loop design, UI/UX implementation, and asset pipeline management. This included creating stylized 3D environment and item assets, implementing the lighting and post-processing for atmospheric effect, and extensive iteration based on rigorous playtesting and user feedback to refine the puzzle difficulty curve.
